We have established a core capability in HT technologies to discover innovative materials for high-value industrial applications in a variety of industrial sectors.

We offer a range of research and business services designed to provide businesses across the region the opportunity to enhance existing in-house R&D programmes through the optimisation of existing products and/or fabrication of new materials with desirable characteristics.

CMD is funded by European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) under the Objective 1 Programme for Merseyside, the North West Development Agency (NWDA), the University of Liverpool and private sector partners.
